A week ago, I was cycling along the river Thames in south London, when I stopped at Teddington lock, the largest lock on the river.
It was there that I spotted a Memorial to the small boats and Miracle of Dunkirk, placed opposite where eighty-five years earlier, during WWII, around one hundred boats were gathered and set off on a rescue mission to France.
As I looked across from the Memorial, my attention was inexplicably drawn to one of several boats moored along the river bank. Not a particularly noticeable boat, but I thought, could it be that all these years later, it is one of the small boats of Dunkirk?
Well it was! Fedalma II, was one of the very boats that was part of the Miracle.
Get ready to set sail!
It so happened that a few weeks before, I had been in conversation with several significant others, talking about revival in the UK, and how that could truly happen? The subject of national prayer and the Miracle of Dunkirk was spoken about.
So, it seemed that standing by the River Thames, God had confirmed something, that we are the ‘small boats’ he wants to use in 2025, to bring revival to the UK.
Individually, it may seem we can do little to turn the tide against Christianity in our Nation. But brought together, by the Holy Spirit, in prayer, a few little flames will become a blaze!

The small boats of Dunkirk and Prayer changed the course of our Nation. It is now your turn.
The Miracle of Dunkirk
On Sunday 26 May 1940 during World War II a National day of prayer took place in the UK. It was at the time when the British army was outmanoeuvred and surrounded in France at Dunkirk and faced possible annihilation at the hands of Nazi forces.
On the day in question, the King and members of the Cabinet, together with millions in all parts of the Nation, Commonwealth and Empire gathered in Cathedrals and Churches to join in prayer.
At the same time, hundreds of small boats from around the country, were utilised to cross the Channel and help bring back our troops.
Prime Minister Winston Churchill stated at the time that maybe 20,000 to 30,000 might escape back to England. In the event, by a series of what even many secular commentators called ‘miracles’, over 300,000 were saved.

Call the Nation to Prayer 
Would you leaders organise a petition to be sent to the king, for a National Day of Prayer?Though you send this email to some Christians I’m sure msny others would go to a church or cathedral for a moments prayer. Look at the marches in Birmingham and Manchester! There are many of us who see a problem in the country, who may not go to church much, or even believe in God. BUT – there’s a concern and worry over the country, fear of war and our children’s future – and I call you to be brave and set up a petition TODAY. I’m sure thousands would sign. If you are hearing from God act in His Name. God bless you

With regards to the King calling for a Day of Prayer, just to say that I have been party to some conversations recently where that is being pursued, but in the background.
Meanwhile keep being a ‘small boat’.

Thank and yes I am aware of the week of prayer.
My point is that perhaps you should call the COUNTRY to prayer. Relatively few people will take part in this ctntp call. In 1940 not everyone was a Christian but it was very significant. I urge you to make this a call from the King (or the PM – duh) who is the supreme Governor of the C of E. May I remind you of 2 Corinthians 10 – we are in a serious spiritual battle and are commanded to CAST DOWN imaginations and EVERY HIGH thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God ✝️🔥
