Dreams and Visions

How God uses dreams and visions to accomplish His Will and fulfil prophecy
‘Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream.’ Genesis 41:12
‘In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled and he could not sleep.’ Daniel 2:1
‘And afterwards, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem  there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.’ Joel 2:28-32
‘Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: ‘Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:’ Acts 2:14-16 (then quotes Joel 2:28-32 in Acts 17-21)
