As One A4 portraitAfter many months of journeying with The Lord, we are nearly there! In just twelve days time, we shall stand in the heart of the United Kingdom, pray and prophetically declare that it is the time for a nationwide revival!

Past prophecies of national revival

In 1947, evangelist Smith Wigglesworth prophesied; when those of ‘the Word’ and those of ‘the Spirit’ come together…

“…there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nations, and indeed, the world have ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores.”

Twenty years later, pastor Jean Darnall had a vision, a national move of God; small ‘fires’ lighting across the UK representing countless people praying. She then saw ‘lightning strikes’ and ‘rivers of fire’, signifying renewal and revival, flowing across the nation and out to continental Europe.

The UK Church has spoken about these prophecies for years and as we have sought God for ‘As One’, we believe it is now the right time in our nation for their release.

11.00 am, old Cathedral ruins Coventry – humble ourselves and pray

2017-11-08 09.02.30This is a significant place and from it we will symbolically gather up the spirit of unity, prayer, peace and reconciliation which this ancient City carries.

As we stand in that place, representing many different strands of The Church across our Land, in preparation for the fulfilment of the revival prophecies that we will seek and declare this afternoon, we will respond to the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2.30 pm, Meriden – ‘release’, from the very heart of England

The-Wayside-Cross-on-The-Green-in-MeridenFor 500 years, Meriden has traditionally been the centre of England. We sensed its significance, and later discovered that in the 1990’s a prayer ministry was established here, after The Lord had indicated that from the heart of the nation, revival would ‘ripple outwards nationally and internationally’.

Together, ‘As One’, in the reconciliation we will have gathered in the morning, it will be time to declare ‘release’. We are led to join two staffs, symbolically representing the coming together of ‘The Spirit and ‘The Word’, and as we do so, we believe The Holy Spirit will send a mighty ripple of revival across, then outward from our Land.
