Mile walk, week commencing 20th August – Praying for exam results
We are asking everyone to go ‘A Mile with Jesus’ in your local community.
- If you live in urban areas, simply walk one mile around your area.
- If you live in a rural area, consider praying over a map.
- If you are unable to walk, please pray in your mind about the local area.
PRAYER
- Pray for all children who have received their A Level results and for all children preparing to receive their G.C.S.E results.
- Pray for wise choices on receiving their results and especially for those disappointed or with worse results than they were expecting.
- Pray for parents /guardians to respond in a loving way to children struggling with their results.
- Pray protection over students struggling with anxiety and depression.
- For all children, pray for God’s will to be done in their lives.
CARE
- Send a card to a teenager in your street who has just completed their exams (if you already know the family).
SHARE
- If you know a family where results were not as expected, if you have a story of how God has used a disappointment in your life for good, share it.
