A call to sound the Shofar, to Praise God and make Declaration, across the UK in February and March

Part of the Vision that we believe Call the Nation to Prayer has been given by The Lord, is that it is time for The Church to release a ‘Sound’ over our Nation – click here to read more about this.

We are therefore excited to endorse and reproduce below a statement that has just been released. with a request to do the very same, during February and March this year. (Note CTNTP are not directly connected to this initiative, but know those who have put their name to it).

Operation Breakthrough

Over 3 days, 6 of us gathered to seek the Lord for a strategy for the days ahead; a sort of war council looking way beyond Brexit. Most people understand that Brexit is just a beginning, and that Britain has a destiny to embrace.

We have all been involved in National prayer events, and will doubtless continue in the days ahead, but we realise that God’s rescue plan for our Nation must involve the far wider Body on a more consistent basis.

Over those 3 days, the Lord took us on a journey, examining our own hearts and lives: and He opened up the Scriptures with Rhema words. It became clear that He wanted to ‘blanket ‘ the Nation with PRAISE and the WORD, and that the result would be amplified if there was a unified coordination.

We felt like we had been travelling on a train track, but needed to reach a station so others could get on board. On the 3rd day this station was reached as a God-given strategy unfolded.

One of us saw a picture of a shofar being blown, but as well as the sound, words were also being released into the atmosphere, causing an explosive effect in the Spirit realm. Then, many shofars were seen being blown across the land, in open spaces, on the coastlands etc , and the synergy was impacting the Kingdom.

PSALM 81 especially v 2-4 was shared and we understood we were to facilitate this happening on the 1st and 15th of every month across the Counties, with a common Word being proclaimed.

It would not necessarily require large numbers in one place, and folk without a shofar could praise the Lord, proclaim the Word and shout ‘AMEN’! The shofar or ram’s horn, is linked to the authority of Christ, which along with the authority of the Word carries a powerful effect. This would create praise altars all over the land, and we envisage ongoing celebration praise. Praise and thanksgiving are vital keys to the victory.

This strategy settled on all our hearts, and we agreed we would seek to mobilise the troops of God’s army.

The first dates then, are 1st and 15th February, and the first proclamation suggested is:-

1st February

‘The Lord reigns: let the earth rejoice!’ Psalm 97:1

Then for 15th:-

‘Lift up your heads O you Gates! And be lifted up you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in’ Psalm 24;

March 1st:-

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen Ephesians 3:20&21

March 15th:-

We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is, and who was, and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

Just imagine the potential of a unified voice declaring His powerful Word…..

We would exhort you to support this God-given strategy, and let’s see what the Lord of Glory will do!!!!!!

Let’s all Strike the Ground

The following is a Message just received today, 18th January, from Adele Richards, Senior Leader, Catch the Fire Bournemouth. (We previously advertised the Day of Prayer that they called for 9th December 2018 – click here to read how that call came about):

‘Yesterday morning I received some strategy from the Lord during my prayer time.

Dr Sharon Stone prophesied in her word for the year that in 2019 there would be more National Days of Prayer and I was happy to see that David Hathaway had organised one for Saturday 26 January, as an event in Wembley with Lou Engle, Betty King, James Aladiran and others leading the prayer. But yesterday I realised that we (as NDOP) were supposed to be adding our voice to this and calling the whole nation to pray again on the date set by David Hathaway.

The strategy is simply to encourage people to get along to Wembley Arena to pray together if they can, but if they can’t to pray and fast where they are…in homes, churches, prayer rooms…whatever they can organise at late notice.

So here I am again, sounding the trumpet to echo David Hathaway’s call to prayer. The verse I got was 2 Kings 13.18 where Elisha tells the King to strike the ground with the arrows. Had the king struck the ground enough times, Israel’s enemies would have been completely defeated.

I believe we need to unite again across the country in another national day of prayer on the 26th and in this way we strike the ground again and prepare the land for what God wants to do in Britain.

I appreciate this doesn’t leave you as a leader much time to communicate to your people or organise a prayer meeting…but perhaps you have prayer warriors in your church that could gather people in their home, or open up your church on that day.

It seems that barely a week passes without hearing of a new gathering to pray for our nation, or an organisation or individual, who is encouraging us to pray for revival and renewal. The Lord is truly stirring his people to their knees!

A day or two ago, Network for Revival was brought to our attention, which is headed up by retired Anglican vicar, Rev. Tony Higton.

On his website, Tony says:

‘I’ve been in the Church of England Ministry for decades but had not thought much about Revival throughout most of my ministry…’

Tony goes on to say:

‘Then a couple of years ago I began to take Revival seriously because of the post-Christian state of British society, with so many people without God and without hope. The Lord’s name is being dishonoured and the cross ignored.’

This is an opportunity for Christians from around the county and further afield to come together in prayer at a critical time in the life of our country. In the midst of the media’s information overload and agendas from the political world we want to be found praying in alignment with His will for our nation.

Kingdom orientated Prayer for the Nation and Church. Prophetic worship and prayer direction from local leaders and intercessors enhanced by special guests for whose support we are grateful to The Lord.

Facilitated by World Prayer Centre, Birmingham, on 4th/5th January, a number of Regional and National Leaders, involved with Prayer, gathered at The Beacon House of Prayer, Stoke-on Trent. It was for 24 hours of prayer, to seek God personally, for their ministries and for the nation, at the very start of 2019. Four of those present were involved with Call the Nation to Prayer.

During a session on 4th January, David Vincent, of London Prayer – londonprayer.com – received a vision and revelation that he shared with those present. It was felt by all to be significant and with his permission, we reproduce it here for you to discern:

 

In the room was a lion, I knew it was the England lion, as I’d met it before (when the S. Korean prayer team were at Marsham St. [central London] a few years ago). It was awake but unable to move as it was chained. Each of the legs had been pulled outwards by the chain resulting in the lion lying flat on its stomach, this position as well as preventing it from moving I knew was preventing it from having its voice and strength. I was puzzled by this and asked why is it chained? Is that heaven’s doing?

Looking I saw that each of its paws around the ankle had a chain around it, which was being pulled by Lilliput like little people who were about the height of it’s paw. There were lots of them on each paw – although I was just looking at the front left paw. I knew that this pulling in different directions was to do with disunity and conflicting tensions pulling at the lion. In order for the lion to stand and get its voice back it needed to be free of these chains.

The picture then changed to see a map like view of the UK, with the lion, now massive and the size of the UK standing over the UK with a different paw in each of the UK’s nations. The front left was in NI, front right in Scotland, the rear left in Wales and the rear right in England. It stood over the UK in a possessive manner, as a lion would naturally guard it’s kill. I knew that the paws not in England were the reason the lion was chained in the way that I’d seen and the it needed to return all four paws to stand on England.

The presence of the paws was harmful to the lands it was on. In fact as I looked at the paws I was thinking of the bloodshed of the English on these lands – I specifically thought of the Wars of the Three Kingdoms in the 1600s which asserted the rule of Parliament over these land including the deaths caused by English troops under Cromwell in Ireland and I also reminded of Culloden and the death with the Jacobites. In Wales it was less about blood and more about servitude.

I was viewing all of this from the position of high up I suppose above the English Channel by the Isle of Wight. As the lion lifted its paw off Wales to move it back to England, there was a burst of fire that came from the ground like a volcano, a fiery well that had been covered. The phrase I had was wildfire, the lion’s paw had been stopping the wells of Celtic wildfire in the land. The lion needed to stand again in England and as it did so it was no longer being pulled in different directions.

I then saw that the pulling on the lion was the tensions that existed due to it’s positioning in the different parts of the UK. There were factions in each of these nations that had the lion chained, it was partly the “We won’t let you go” as the lion there gave these constituent parts a greater voice and power in their (the people pulling on the chains) minds and also it was about the power of the bloodshed and the controlling wrong leadership style (Empire) that the lion had created the ties to these lands.

The whole debate about Brexit came to mind and the competing voices of the different nations (DUP, SNP as well as the assemblies) about this pulling Parliament in different directions making it less able to stand was an example.

As the lion stood on England alone and the fires were released I saw the other creatures of the UK come stand beside it and together they looked up and there was a large cross that they were looking at, and I knew that there was a true unity in the UK that was each nation finding its voice in the calling and identity it was given by God. The lion no longer dominating allowing the other nations to find their voice, but there was the emphasis that their identity was in Jesus not as others may seek to define them as they found their own voices.

[We had a] Time of prayer of repentance over the way England had treated the other nations, the way it had sought to bring control over the wildfire of the Holy Spirit in the land.

When the Lion Roars

Also, here is a fuller version of the prophetic 2018 word over the UK, by Rania Sayegh, of HOPE: House of Prayer and Exploits, Israel, which is quoted on the reverse of the flyer:

Our attention has just been brought to this up to the moment prophetic word from Rick Joyner, Fort Mill, SC. USA. It certainly ‘resonates’ with us here at CTNTP and reflects many of the things that The Lord has previously brought to our attention of things to come.

As usual, with any ‘word’, please weigh it with Scripture and listen to what The Holy Spirit might say to you personally about it.

 

2019: A Year of Unity and Shaking

2018 was a remarkable and wonderful year. 2019 will be even more so. Every year from now on will be more so, but key elements of a great spiritual critical mass will begin to come together in the coming year.

This will begin a spiritual atomic-like explosion in 2020. What are the elements that are coming together for this to happen?

A Time of Great Increase

The first will be a growing relationship and union with the Lord. Many have begun to experience the greatest times they have ever had in their relationship with the Lord. For those who seek Him, this will continually increase. There will also be an increasing unity and cooperation between individuals, ministries, and movements. We are told in Ecclesiastes 4 that two are better than one, and a cord of three strands is not easily broken.

Therefore, wherever two or three begin to unite in purpose, there will be a multiplication of power and fruitfulness. The demonstration of this will cause a cascading affect that will draw others into the great movements of the future. This will release more definition and focus to the Body of Christ than it has had in generations. This is the beginning of what, over the next decade, will eclipse the experiences of the first-century Church.

As this is taking place in the spirit, the fracturing and divisions in the natural will also increase. The verses that I was given for this were Hebrews 12:25-26: “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused Him who warned them on Earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from Heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.'”

This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

“Therefore, since we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:28-29)

Following the Lord in all that we do is no longer just an option. It will be increasingly costly to disregard the word of the Lord or His guidance in our lives. This is because of His love for us, as was emphasized earlier in Hebrews 12. He must prepare His people for the time when not heeding His voice can be devastating or even fatal. So the discipline and consequences of this will increase in speed and degree. However, the fruit of obeying will likewise increase.

Standing on the Rock in a Time of Shaking

The national, cultural, religious, and economic fault lines will all become increasingly unstable, and the tremors will grow throughout the world. Major shaking will break out where it was thought to be stable and secure. The right interpretation of the signs of the times is to disengage from those things that can be shaken and resolutely give ourselves to the Kingdom that cannot be shaken. If we have built our lives on the Rock, no worldly storm can bring us down. Those who have built their lives on the Rock will begin to pull many from the shifting quicksands of this world.

Keeping Him first in our devotion and affection, seeking first His Kingdom in every major decision, is the most important principle in how to build our lives on the Rock. Those who do this have nothing to fear from the times, but rather they will grow in the righteousness, peace, and joy. That is the nature of the Kingdom.

A Time of Harvest and of Champions

We are now entering “the harvest” that is the end of the age. The greatest move of God that has ever been is now upon us. The greatest ingathering into the Kingdom is just beginning. There has never been anything like it before, and there will not be anything like it again. These are the times that all of the righteous of old and even the angels desired to see, and we are here to live in them.

The deep darkness that is now spreading over the people will only make the light appear that much brighter. Just as the greatest prophets arose during the greatest times of Israel’s apostasy, great champions are about to be released throughout the world preaching the good news of the coming Kingdom. The result will be that the nations will come to the light (see Isaiah 60:1-5). Don’t ever forget that the light will ultimately win, the truth will ultimately prevail, and we too will prevail if we walk in His light and His truth.

I was given a series of dreams at the end of 2018 in which I was shown that some lines have been crossed that will have significant consequences, especially for the United States. I will begin to share these in our Word for the Week (future articles). Some of these things may be shocking at first, but we must see them, be prepared for them, and understand that they are “inevitable, right, and will be successful.”

At the Gate of the Year

So we stand here again, the tipping point between all that has been in 2018 and all that the New Year will bring. Looking back, how much of what took place during the twelve months could you have honestly predicted? Not very much I suspect… who knows what 2019 will hold!

In 1939, with Great Britain at war, and with a very unknown future ahead for the United Kingdom, King George VI spoke the following words at the end of his Christmas message to the Nation:

Wartime Miracles and a National Scandal Leaflet

A friend of Call the Nation to Prayer is Pastor John and his organisation, Strengthen the Faithful. Earlier in 2018, John was led by The Lord to produce and distribute 25.000 copies, of a leaflet he wrote, by email and post called, Wartime Miracles and a National Scandal. 

John said:

The Wartime Miracles Leaflet has a dual purpose. Firstly, it teaches how the Lord dramatically delivered the UK during the Second World War in direct response to those who prayed in humility and repentance. Secondly, it calls upon the people of today to equally approach Him in humility and repentance, pleading for His deliverance from the National dangers we are increasingly facing.

It shows clearly “this is what the Lord did for the previous generation and He can do it again for this generation, if approached in a spirit of humility and repentance.” The Wartime Miracles Leaflet is therefore a clarion call for nationwide intercessory prayer.

2019 – Take God’s Hand and step forward in faith

It is time to stand up and move out! Remind yourself of your ‘battle orders’ by reading the full passage regarding the Armour of God, in Ephesians 6: 10-20 – particularly verse 18:

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 

And, Pray without ceasing – 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Let us turn from division and disunity, come together ‘As One’, and each putting our hand in the Hand of God, step with Him, in faith and confidence, into the unknown of 2019.
