A stormy time is approaching and it is coming because I am about to really move in power in the U.K and the enemy wants to disrupt this. Fear not for you know well that I have already won the victory!

We believe that the Bible passage in John 17, where Jesus speaks about being ‘As One’ is something God has very much drawn to our attention as being crucial to the direction of CTNTP. This article, by Ron McGatlin, www.openheaven.com, has recently come to our attention and speaks very well on this subject.

The Loving Peace of Kingdom Joy in This World

The blessings of God are upon His people who live by the Spirit and walk in the Spirit. It is true that the world may be filled with bad news repeated thousands of times over TV. Yet there is a place of perfect peace in the resting place of the arms of God.

Being in the Spirit, in love with God our Father and our Lord Christ Jesus is our resting place in this world. The Holy Spirit is the personification of Father God and Christ Jesus abiding in and with all who come to God with their whole hearts. This is the kingdom of God life now on earth that Jesus came to bring to His people.

A Mystery of God

A mysterious and marvelous thing happens as we come together with others in whom God by His Spirit also abides. Our love relationship with God is quickened to levels of excited joy in the “Spirit to Spirit” agreement and oneness of fellowship. The knitting together of God in us with God in others forms a heavenly bond of peace and sense of trust and security.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. ²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20.

The marvellous part of this is that we not only rest in the joy of the Lord in His presence, but that we also become extremely powerful in bringing change to the world around us. The presence and power of Christ in us is joined by Christ from heaven among us in a glorious experience of oneness that changes us and the world around us.

Great power of love is released that directly connects us with the throne of Heaven and nothing is impossible to us. This is the reality of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. The will of God fills our hearts and lives, and we ask only that which pleases God and fits perfectly with His plan and purpose for us and the world around us.

The enemy of God on earth knows that he is totally powerless to even begin to pervert the will and works of God on earth. Only when he through devious deception causes disagreement among those in whom Christ abides can he hinder the ultimate power of God from ruling and reigning on this earth.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. (Neh 8:10). The joy found in the oneness of truly SEEKING FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS is the only way to unity of agreement “Spirit to Spirit.”

All things come together in the kingdom of God on earth. All things that are of God on earth fit together under the one big plan of God, the kingdom of heaven on earth under King Christ Jesus, Lord of lords and King of kings. (Eph 1:17-23).

Seeing our part as it fits together with others under the one kingdom and one King removes all competition and brings together all the parts. Continuing to focus on our one part as the whole or main thing divides and separates the people and the kingdom of Christ and empowers the enemy. (Eph 4:11-16).

It is not fruitful to preach unity until after preaching and demonstrating the kingdom. Unity cannot happen until the gospel of the kingdom of God and its King is proclaimed and demonstrated to all involved. (Mat 24:14). The big picture of the government of heaven, the kingdom of God on earth is to be the primary focus of all believers and all works of ministry. All divisions or denominations must release their false beliefs that their part is the main issue and SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The kingdom is the one folder in which all other folders of truth can fit together as one. Christ Jesus is the Head, the King and the corner-stone of all truth. The kingdom of God is within you if, indeed, you abide in Christ Jesus and He abides in you by the Holy Spirit. Every purpose of your life is to be under the one primary purpose and plan of God, the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

‘The great mystery is that unity and glory in this world is Christ in you. “…. I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, ²⁶ the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. ²⁷ To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.’ Col 1:25-29.

‘“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” ‘ Luke 12:32.

Whilst travelling in the UK recently with Peter Hill, seeing what God has for Call the Nation to Prayer, a man we stayed with overnight conveyed to me over breakfast something that he felt God had told him. He said that I was a ‘wandering minstrel’ for God’s Kingdom, that In essence, I carry and convey a ‘sound’, so as I connect with different people, ‘choirs’ form as they join and blend in, with their own ‘sound’!

This was particularly interesting, because over the previous couple of days whilst in Coventry, there was another mention of sound. We had being drawn to visit the City because of it’s geographical centrality in the Nation. There had been musing of the significance of the letter ‘C’ – Coventry, Centre and musically, middle C.

Someone had mentioned that on one occasion they were in Amsterdam Central Railway Station and that they had sounded middle C loudly on the piano there, listening to its resonance echoing out into the vast space of the building.

I believe God is creating a new sound, a ‘resonance’ across the UK. It could be singing or the playing of musical instruments, but it’s not traditional or even contemporary church music, or what you would hear at a ‘praise and worship event’ or on the latest You Tube clip from that well known band. Mostly it probably isn’t a sound based on musical notes at all.

The sound is actually the sound of Bible believing Christians – true followers of Jesus Christ. It is of those who had had enough of what our society has become, had enough of sin, those who care enough to lay it all down, repent, then rise up, ‘As One’, taking their place to do something about it.

It’s of those who will step outside the box, break religious tradition and cross and even demolish denominational boundaries. Those who desire again an Acts 2 Church. Those who are unselfish, give all they have to all in need, that heal the sick, raise the dead, weep with those who mourn. Those who restore hope and sanity where there seems none.

It’s those who reject division, hate and dis-unity of any kind, with an unconditional love that says, you are accepted, you are forgiven, because Jesus died not just for me… but you.

It is a sound of Heaven, heaven touching earth, of The Kingdom of God about to invade. An earthly army about to rub shoulders with the armies of heaven to take this planet back for Him. To take it back to His first design.

The sound is one of prayer. 24-7 prayer. This prayer comes out of a radical encounter with Jesus. It’s an abandoned, naked walk in the cool of the day with our loving Heavenly Father in the Garden, a restoration of relationship lost. The sound is one of arms thrown around necks and tear drops hitting the ground as forgiveness flows and relationships are restored – made totally new.

It’s the sound of the Wind of the Holy Spirit as we allow Him to blow us, take us wherever He will and whatever the cost.

It’s a sound that is surely gathering over the villages, towns and other cities of our Nation.

It’s a sound of a trumpet, ‘the last trump’, the sound that says He is coming again. Jesus is on the way.

It’s time to make your sound heard and get ready to greet Him.

A letter from Peter Hill, on the eve of his third visit to the UK, scheduled for November 2nd to 20th 2017

We believe that God is directing our thoughts towards Prayer Walking and to an initiative in that respect in 2018. There are people to see and much to pray over and consider, but let’s pray and take steps of faith and see where God leads.

GREETINGS FROM CANADA!

We trust this letter finds you well and knowing the Lord’s Blessing in your life!

As a third visit to U.K. draws near, we are conscious of the fact that unless the Lord directs and orchestrates calling the nation to prayer, we will have found our efforts to have achieved little and been in vain!

David Gilbey has organized a Day Conference on November 4th. in Chelmsford, Essex and invited Suzanne Ferrett of ‘Passion For The Nation’ (passionforthenation.uk), to speak on that day along with Chelmsford 24-7 Prayer (chelmsford24-7.org).  The day is also in association with Call The Nation To Prayer.

As mentioned in previous emails, CTNTP is not an organization but rather a sharing and a declaring what we believe the Lord by His Spirit has made clear. At the same time, what this looks like and how this unfolds is still in the building stages. We have peace in seeing CTNTP to include: ‘Walk The Nation In Prayer’ and ‘Come Together As One!’  A Three Fold Cord!

So it looks like:

John 17, where Jesus prayed that we may be one so that the world would believe (How powerful is that?!), has been central for a long time now in our thinking and in our prayers (as well as in the minds and hearts of so many throughout the nation) and we believe the time is now to take the next step!

What has been amazing as well has been the growth of prayer movements across the U.K. where many have heard the Lord to come together to seek His Face and to call on His Name.

What’s next?

How is the Lord impressing upon His People to come together in Unity?

What of the thousand questions unanswered?

Where goes the Nation?

Where goes the Church?

Peter and David will be meeting with a number of key leaders in early November and open to meeting with Pastors and Leaders and those who carry a heart for the nation – we ask for prayer that God’s Wisdom will be made known in the coming days.

We are delighted to announce that Peter Hill will be travelling to the UK in the Autumn and joining us for our Regional Gathering, As Our Nation is Shaken, a Kingdom Opportunity, on Saturday 4th November in Chelmsford. Peter will have opportunity to speak at the meeting.

In 1971, during the UK Charismatic Revival, Peter founded the National Festival of Light, which saw around 300 fiery beacons lit around the Nation and tens of thousands of Christians marching for moral righteousness in London. Out of this the Christian organisation CARE formed.

Peter later moved to Canada, but unexpectedly, in June 2015, God awoke him in his bed and told him to Call the Nation of England to Prayer. Peter is the inspiration to what is now taking place.

Dovetail Shalom Ministries, along with David Hathaway and Dennis Greenidge, are calling for a National Day of Prayer for Great Britain; for Theresa May, Brexit, the unity of the UK, and for the nation to turn back to God and His Holy Word.

They have taken the Emmanuel Centre in Marsham Street London for Friday September 8th. The meeting will start at 10.30am and finish by 8.00pm. It will be a day of prayer and fasting.

God is speaking clearly – He says NOW! Time is running out and prayer is essential at this critical time. Following all the recent disasters our nation is in distress, being torn apart as never before. So we need to come together as His body to pray, to humble ourselves, repent and plead for God to have mercy to heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14.

It is interesting to note that September 8th 1940 was the National Prayer Day that led to victory in the Battle of Britain. It is exactly 77 years ago in the year 5777.

In line with our vision for Regional Hubs, we are pleased to be associated with a City-wide and Regional gathering, that will be taking place in Chelmsford, Essex, on Saturday 4th November 2017.

Everyone who has a heart for Prayer and to see the Kingdom of God come to our Nation is warmly invited to come along.

It is Time to Pray for our Nation

There is little doubt that with the recent terrorist attacks, the Grenfell Tower fire, the General Election result, Brexit, all mixed with fear, uncertainty and every other possible emotion that goes alongside, people everywhere are starting to cry out for direction, stability, help and hope for the future.

Jesus Christ, through the Commission and Compassion He has given His Church – Christian Believers everywhere – is the Hope and only lasting and true answer to the cry.

Prayer is the key that will see a release of The Holy Spirit in our Nation to make that answer a reality in the hearts and lives of individuals in every community up and down our Nation.

The World Prayer Centre, Birmingham has published more about this Call to Prayer, together with some specific Prayer Points – read it here – and pray!

This update contains some further thoughts along a similar theme as my last update on May 23 – A Shaking of the Nations:

There is a Christian worship song, now 40 years old, of which the chorus goes:

Bind us together, Lord,
bind us together
with cords that cannot be broken;
bind us together, Lord,
bind us together,
O bind us together with love.

The response to today’s UK General Election result, a hung Parliament, has again further illustrated the deep divisions in our Nation – and I don’t just mean the population as a whole, but within the Christian Community too!

I was quite upset at a thread on Facebook this afternoon where a Christian made a negative comment about the Prime Minister, who is widely believed to be a Christian herself and which was quickly populated by other derogatory even quite caustic responses against her personally, some by other Christians!

I’m reminded of the words of Jesus, recorded in John 13:35 – “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” If that be true, which it is, the opposite must also surely be true?

Elsewhere in the Bible, Jesus talks about a kingdom being divided against itself being unable to stand. (Mark 3:24). Whilst Jesus is specifically speaking about the kingdom of satan, nonetheless the principal helps to explain why fundamentally Society as a whole is unable to truly unite.

However, we who are Followers of Jesus, must demonstrate a love for each other that ensures, at all times, we are strong reflectors of God’s love to our fallen world. If we turn on each other, even if we feel justified in some way, our purpose to spread the Gospel message, will be quickly defeated before we begin.

We do not have to have exactly the same views, be in agreement over politics, other worldly things, or even disputable matters of Christian doctrine come to that, but we must be so careful how we express them.

We are commanded by Jesus himself to stand shoulder to shoulder, bound together with His love. We must be linked with ‘cords that cannot be broken’  – which is the message of Christ dying on the Cross for our sins, raising to life again, ascending back to His Father in Heaven, one day to return to rule and reign.

And may I suggest that the ‘glue’ that holds these cords of unity tight is surely prayer? Let’s pray for our Nation like at no other time and see ‘His Kingdom Come and His will be done, here on earth as it is in Heaven’
