We are excited to hear of so many at the present time organising and being involved in times of prayer for our Nation.
Today, we received an email from Catch the Fire, a church in Bournemouth on the south coast, who are challenged by The Lord to call a National Day of Prayer for Government on Sunday 9th December 2018.
The day is inspired by Isaiah 66:8 and calls for Believers to use their God given authority to call in Divine order to the UK:
“Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children.”
The Senior Leader at the Church said in her email to CTNTP:
‘I wondered who I could influence to organise [a National day of Prayer]… I thought of the biggest names I know in ministry and if I could get them to do it. Then I figured as I had the vision for it I better do it and just release it on Facebook and see what happens.’
Already several thousand people have engaged through their Facebook Page (click here). God surely wants ‘grassroots’ believers to take up the call to praying for the UK – as well as ‘big’ prayer organisations and well known leaders.
The National Day of Prayer, on Sunday 9th December, can be taken up wherever you are, in your own City, Town, Village.

National Prayer in wartime
Over the last months, CTNTP have heard much from many sources comparing the present situation to historic wartime calls to prayer – check out some we have published on the pages under the Prophecies and Insights tab.
Many are seeing that we are in a fierce battle right now!

Recently we celebrated 100 years of the Royal Air Force, the brave men and women of whom Winston Churchill famously said:
“Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many, to so few”
Right now the Battle for Britain is in the air. In the airwaves and in the prayers of the believers.
We have an amazing history of nation changing prayer in this country thanks to national days of prayer during the second world war and people like Rees Howells, whose prayers changed the direction of The Battle of Britain.
As Believers around the UK on Sunday 9th December join together in prayer, The Lord will, like Gideon’s Army, surely multiply the effect. We will see Victory, and the Name of Jesus Christ lifted up across our Land.!
CTNTP has been careful to keep out of the ‘Brexit fray’, The whole subject has become a very difficult one for The Church at large in our nation, as within our congregations, like during the Referendum, many hold one position, many the other. It has divided us, at the very time when The Lord is surely saying, we must be ‘As One’.
Our view is that The Lord has already gone far ahead of us! His overall plans and purposes for the United Kingdom have been in place from the beginning of time. They are good plans, plans that give us a real hope and future. It is all to easy for us to react, to ‘knee-jerk’ to the daily pendulum swing of news and commentary.
We are not absolved from the responsibility of prayer and of seeking The Lord, for He works alongside us, ‘co-labours’ with us. It is a great mystery, but He truly uses us to bring His plans to fruition. Prayer leads to ‘mission’ – we must hear from Heaven and deliver our personally assigned part in God’s plan.
We have already believed the Lord is speaking to many Christians in Britain about releasing a ‘sound of heaven’ over our Land, for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Read more about this – click here. The plans of the enemy are defeated when God’s people rise up, and standing in love and unity, stand, sing, speak and declare His Glory! (See 2 Chronicles 20). This should surely be our focus?

A Prophetic Word from Quiver
We have been made aware of a Statement from the Christian prayer organisation, Quiver, written by its Convenor, Jennifer Abigail Lawson Wallace, that was released a couple of days ago. This powerfully speaks into the Brexit situation and is reproduced below. As usual, we ask you to weigh the words before The Lord.
We are in a time where we must keep our eyes fixed on heaven, let The Holy Spirit direct your thoughts and prayers, not the BBC (or other) news!
A STATEMENT FROM QUIVER CONCERNING BREXIT – 24 November 2018
Last Tuesday was exactly two years ago, when we finished the intercessory journey around the UK. I had totally forgotten about that, but was at a prayer meeting at Emmanuel Centre on Tuesday 20th November, when the Holy Spirit reminded me. He said “Today is exactly two years since you completed your intercessory journey around the UK.”
He began to remind me of the things He said at the end of that assignment; that He has taken control over the nation, and that whatever transpires, we should rest assured that He is in control. After the assignment, He had also said to me, “I will take you to Buckingham Palace and there you’ll complete this task, for I have taken over the nation.” A few months later, I attended the Queen’s garden party at Buckingham Palace, and there, I proclaimed Psalm 45 over the nation, declaring that Christ will rule this land with the Church, His Bride!
Since then, even though we have continued to pray concerning Brexit, the focus of the Lord to us at QUIVER has been the Church. To pray and prepare her to rise up boldly and work. The Lord need His Church to stand firm, and prepared and ready to reach out to the nation again. (Haggai 2). Hence our 36 days of fasting and prayer throughout the year, which concludes next week.
However, whenever I have felt panicky about the current situation with Brexit, I have been reminded that the LORD IS IN CONTROL AND WILL HAVE HIS WAY. I have a deep sense of peace, and the Lord has asked us to enter into rest and praise Him.
The Lord gave 2 Chronicles 20
In the midst of a fierce threat of war from several nations, King Jehoshaphat declared to Judah and Jerusalem “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets and you shall prosper.” Then he assigned worshippers to go before the army. They declared, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.”
We, therefore, believe that this is not the time to panic but rather hold on to every prophetic word received regarding the UK, and stand firm and declare it. This is the time to believe that God answers prayer and He has heard and will answer and help us. This is the time to praise, worship and thank God and ask Him to glorify His name.
Indeed it’s not by might but by His Spirit. Who are you O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!!!” Zechariah 4:6-7
As I prayed last night, I heard word: “The outcome of Brexit has already been determined in the courts of heaven.” We, therefore, believe that the counsel of God alone shall stand in regards to Brexit! No human being shall determine the outcome, God has already determined it.
After, praying last night, the Lord asked me to make a Prophetic Declaration over Britain. (I have an audio recording of this). After making the prophetic declaration, I had a vision of the Lord as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! I saw the Lion but He was with a Lioness. (This the first time I have seen the Lion with a Lioness). With this I had an assurance that the Lord, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is with His Bride, the true Church. Jesus Christ is with us in this battle for our nation. Victory belongs to Jesus.
Let us do what King Jehoshaphat and Judah did, and stand firm on His word, promises and prophecies to our nation. Let us stand in faith and believe in the Lord’s ability to deliver. Let us have a confident assurance in our God and praise, worship and thank Him. Let us stand still and firm and see the salvation of our God. PSALM 46. Amen!!!

Following ‘As One‘, September this year, we continue to hear of ‘confirmations’ concerning the Spirit and Word coming together in the context of Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy – click here to read.
In 2015, author, songwriter, and church leader, Jarrod Cooper, published a book entitled, ‘When Spirit and Word Collide’. He explores the 1947 prophecy and examines what it means for today’s Church. A new wave of extraordinary Spirit and Word churches are emerging. In this book he looks at the qualities that will set them apart and position them at the centre of a great move of God that will sweep our nation.
Here are the first words from its introduction:
In 1947 a prophetic word was brought to the Body of Christ that most attribute to the man of faith, Smith Wigglesworth; a word that may change Church history. In it he spoke of several phases in the life of the Church that would span the decades following its utterance. Notably, for us today, the first few phases have unfolded exactly as prophesied. This makes the final, as yet unfulfilled, stage of his prophetic word of great interest to church leaders and all Christians today. Since the prophetic word has been so proven until now, we would be foolish to ignore its finale.

We believe that part of the purpose of our ‘As One’ gathering on 29th September, was to release a ‘revival ripple’ across the UK. The ripple could also be described as the ‘Sound of Heaven’, a heavenly vibration, the frequency of The Kingdom of God resonating out to touch everyone and everything!
We were recently sent a link to a You Tube video, where in 2008, Ray Hughes is speaking on The Symphony of Heaven. He explains that when we hear and respond to the sound of heaven, we become instruments of praise for God on the earth.

We recently had this prophetic word brought to our attention by Richard Barker of Richard’s Watch prophetic Blog.
Heidi Baker is the co-founder of Iris Ministries and she delivered this word at the Catch the Fire London conference on 16th November 2014.
Within the word, Heidi Baker says, ‘…it’s this radical movement of unity where there’s going to be so much of Holy Spirit’s presence in the individual believers that they’re literally going to cross different streams and they’re going to move together’. She also talks about is as being a movement of, ‘radical love’, between Believers.
We see that the context of Heidi’s Word is very much in line with our recent ‘As One’ gathering.
What does The Lord says to you?
“I just feel like this revival that God has promised in this nation – it’s another wave of revival He’s promised; I feel like it’s going to come as we go. It’s going to come as we go. It’s going to come as we go, says the Lord. This revival of radical love is going to come as we go. It’s each one of us just taking a hold of the love of God, taking a hold of the heart of God, taking a hold of the mercy of God, fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and the finisher, and as we go, one by one by one by one there’s going to be a lighting up in the hearts of men and women in this city, in this nation.
“This move of God is different than you’ve ever seen before, says the Lord. It’s different than you’ve ever seen before, says the Lord, because no one’s going to point to one mighty evangelist. No-one’s going to point to one mighty preacher, no-one’s going to point to one mighty event, but there’s going to be this, this immersion, this immersion of the Father’s love, this immersion of Holy Spirit, this immersion, this infilling of God within the hearts of individuals, and with the hearts of bodies, the body of Christ.
“There’s going to be a movement of unity in the UK that’s going to shake the world, says the Lord. I hear the prophetic word of the Lord. It’s going to flow through the universities and the colleges of the universities. It’s going to flow through denomination and the non-denominations. There’s going to be a move of unity within the Body of Christ.
“You’re going to fill Wembley Stadium. You’re going to fill stadiums, stadiums, with worshippers of the living God. And there’s going to be this holy affection where people come before the Lord. They’re not going to even know who’s speaking in the stadium, they’re not going to even know the name of the preachers, because they’re coming fixing their eyes on Jesus. It’s going to shake the nation, says the Lord.
“There’s going to be a unity even between Scotland and Ireland and the UK, that’s going to SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE. There’s going to be a shaking that’s going to bring a unity, says the Lord. There’s going to be something that the people of other faiths are going to see in this nation, as believers come together in radical love.
“There’s going to be; you are going to be a part of the history, a part of the history in this nation, says the Lord. There’s going to be another historical move of God – I see, I see a shaking, a shaking of radical love.
“I see people in the Body of Christ, and you’re going out, and I’ve seen a vision of it, you’re going out, and I know you’re sons and daughters but you’re going out like ants, you’re going out like ants, like ants, like little ants, like little ants and you’re digging digging digging digging digging like little ants – like little ants, you’re digging.
“And there’s something specific happening as you start just lining up in this unity. There’s going to be a unity beyond anything the UK’s ever seen. It’s like there’s something, I feel like you’re going to become like these radical lovers of God that’s going to cross all denominations, all the barriers.”
“I feel like church history is going to be made in this place again, and you’re going to be a part of the history because, instead of burning people at the stake, there’s going to be radical love manifested through the Body of Christ.
“And it’s like there’s something that’s going to be happening in the body of Christ in UK – and I hear the Lord, I hear the Lord so clearly – it’s this radical movement of unity where there’s going to be so much of Holy Spirit’s presence in the individual believers that they’re literally going to cross different streams and they’re going to move together in this HUGE river of radical love that’s going to flow over the banks of the UK, it’s going to flow over the banks – it’s going to be like this hotbed – and out of the UK there’s going to come this MIGHTY move of the Spirit that’s going to touch even unto the continent, says the Lord, and there’s going to be a re-awakening, a re-awakening of love, a re-awakening of unity, a re-awakening of His Spirit – and it’s like the other faith, the other faiths, the other religions, they’re going to take notice when the Christians come together in radical love – a cross-stream, they won’t care what they’re called, they won’t care…
”It’s interesting what I hear: there’s going to be diversity in the unity, there’s going to be diversity in the unity, uniqueness in the unity, where people are going to come together uniquely different and yet flowing together in unity. It’s not like you’re going to come together with a fake unity where all your doctrines are the same, where all your beliefs are the same, but you’re going to come together for the prize, you’re going to come together for the prize!
“He says, “I will give you souls, I will give you souls, I will give you souls, souls, souls, souls”. There’s going to be another Great Awakening coming out of this place!
“I see a great awakening touching the universities. There’s going to be a fire of God’s glory love on the universities. There’s going to be move between denominations that will blow your mind, says the Lord.
“This is from God’s heart and it’s, it’s a passion on Daddy’s heart that…it’s hard to understand but there’s been this longing on the heart of Daddy God, this longing on the heart of the Father for this move that He longs for, that He’s destined this place for, that He’s destined UK for – He’s destined it in His Spirit – and I see it…Oh yes Lord.”

God is uniting His Church – we are seeing ‘As One’ happening all around the Nation!

This is how the second part of ‘As One’, our two connected gatherings, on Saturday 29th September unfolded. This is the account of our afternoon at Meriden.
A ripple from centre of England
The plaque at the base of the Cross situated on Meridian village green states, ‘This ancient wayside cross has stood in the village for some 500 years and by tradition it marks the CENTRE OF ENGLAND…’
On their first journey to Coventry on a wet November day in 2017, CTNTP founder Peter Hill along with David Gilbey, were led to stop off at this very place. From that day they believed The Lord was leading them to hold a gathering there the following year.
Looking at the top of Meriden Market Cross, albeit long since devoid of it’s actual cross, they saw a thin metal spike sticking up, maybe a lightning conductor? David imagined ‘lightning from heaven’, Holy Spirit power striking that spot and radiating out to the entire nation.
All was confirmed a few months later, when David Gilbey was introduced to John and Pam Yates, who previously had a prayer ministry in Meriden. Their story is described elsewhere on the website – click here – but it is significant to repeat this from John’s vision of nearly 40 years before:
‘In the autumn of 1979 John had been alone praying, when the presence of God became very powerful in his room. God began to show John the importance of establishing His Kingdom presence in the heart of England, which would then ripple outwards nationally and internationally…’

Arrival from Coventry
On 29th September 2018, as the afternoon crowd gathered in Meriden Sports Park next to the village green, Peter Hill lined the sun up to take an amazing photo of the Market Cross. When this was viewed, it showed light radiating in all directions. Surely a further confirmation that The Lord was going to do something significant in our nation, starting here?
Many made the journey from our morning gathering in Coventry. Others joined us just for the afternoon, and we estimated slightly more in attendance than the morning’s one-hundred and fifty.
On behalf of The UK Church, we were ready to ‘release’ the repentance and reconciliation gathered up at the Cathedral Ruins.

Reiterating Revival prophecy
At 2.30 pm, UK co-ordinator of CTNTP David Gilbey, greeted everyone and Rob Parker and his Team opened with a song of praise and worship.
In the morning David had spoken about the Smith Wigglesworth and Jean Darnall prophecies of UK revival and again, this time with a little more detail, he re-iterated how God had led us to this day, believing it was the time declare that it was the ‘kairos’ time, the right time for their fulfillment.
Rev. Jane Braund, minister of Meriden Methodist Church then read this short piece:
For centuries Meriden has historically been known as the Heart of England.
We’ve come here today, knowing we’re standing on the prayers of many who’ve gone before, who have faithfully ploughed up the ground and have been praying in God’s plans and purposes for the nation; believing that from this place – the heart – the ripples will go out into the nation and beyond.

Dancing in Unity
Then, during a further time of praise and worship, Peter Hill encouraged those present to dance before The Lord! Many took this opportunity to freely express their unity and their love for Father God.
CTNTP Team member Jo Ognjanovic, then read part of John 17 – a prayer of Jesus stating the necessity of those who follow him to be ‘As One’. The end of verse 23 shows the profound effect The Church will have on those outside, if we truly come together in unity:
Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

The Word and Spirit coming together
Peter Hill and Team member Suzanne Ferrett then stepped forward. The two shepherd’s crooks, or staffs, which were earlier introduced at Coventry, were walked to the front by Rev. David Mayhew and John Yates.
The staffs were symbolic of Wigglesworth’s prophecy; a need for The Church, those of ‘The Word’ and those of ‘The Spirit’, to come together so revival can be released.

Peter Hill spoke about the significance of what we were about to do and Suzanne Ferrett read a powerful prayer and 
declaration concerning The Church becoming ‘As One’.
The staffs were then bound together with a red cord, representing the shed Blood of Jesus.

Bread and Wine
Then followed a time of joining together in two’s and three’s to take the ‘bread and wine’. It was a simple act of unity, across denominational and traditional boundaries, to remember the sacrifice Jesus made on The Cross of Calvary for us all – His body broken, His blood poured out.
The three church leaders in Meriden, Anglican minister, Rev. Linda Lilley; Pentecostal pastor, Kevin Hunt; and Methodist minister, Rev. Jane Braund, stood together. By way of introduction, they read selected verses from 1 Corinthians 10 and 11.

(For several years, all three ministers have been working together in Meriden. If it had not been for their support, help with organisation and enthusiasm, ‘As One’ could not have taken place in the village. It is a wonderful illustration of what happens when The Church is, as one!).
Prayers for The Nation
Peter Hill and Suzanne Ferrett then spoke again. Then Peter Hill, with David Gilbey standing beside him holding the bound staffs, read out a prayer for the nation.
As Peter read out certain lines of his prayer, he paused and indicated that David should, in prophetic agreement, strike the ground with the staffs. As Peter felt led upon each pause, he directed the ground be struck between one and five times.

Awake You Who Sleep
The gathering approached its end with an amazing, prophetic song of declaration; Awake You Who Sleep, which was written in 2017 by our Team member and worship leader for the day, Rob Parker.
The song appears on Rob’s album, Awakening the Coastlands, described by one reviewer: “This album takes you on a historical yet prophetic trip around the nations of the United Kingdom…”
The song ended with these words, (note particularly those we’ve highlighted):
You open the windows of heaven
You bring forth the fountain of life
You’re fires pierce through the darkness
Let them burn let them be light
Jesus it’s your kingdom
Jesus your kingdom come
Your spirit and word come together
Revival breaks out on these shores
The lion roars from the coastlands
And is heard in all of the earth
Jesus it’s your kingdom
Jesus your kingdom come
Rob wrote this song before he had heard of Call the Nation to Prayer, but it speaks for revival in our land in exactly the same way as The Lord had been already directing us.

Stones of Remembrance
Then, at the end of our afternoon, Suzanne Ferrett offered the opportunity for those present to come to the front and from a large pile, take away a stone. Stones often feature in the Bible as memorials; to remember great exploits.
Suzanne ended her explanation, “It is to carry the anointing released here today, to the place you represent.” Many stones were taken.
(The stone shown in the photograph is one of those taken on the day and was shown to us afterwards. It looks rather like a fragment of bone, with the inside exposed. Might it remind you of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37: 1-14? Can these bones live [again], Ezekiel was asked? We believe that this nation will live again, for the gospel of Jesus Christ!)

Blessing and sending
The afternoon was then ended by David Gilbey, who read the Aaronic blessing from Numbers 6, 22-27, adding v.28, then the Doxology from Jude 24-25.

Reflecting on the day
Our reflection from the day was that we achieved all The Lord had told us to do. It was a journey of Faith and in Faith we await the outcome. A most appreciative thank-you to all who came, or supported us in prayer where you were.
Father God, we now rest and wait upon you.

I just wanted to take a few lines to give a big thank you to everyone who gave financial support for ‘As One’ last month. CTNTP has no regular income and it was only in May this year, with just four months to go, that our new bank account with zero balance received it’s first donation of £20 towards the event.
Just before 29th September we had received a total of £260, which covered almost exactly expenses required prior to the day. We believed our eventual expenditure would be about £1500 and indeed it came in around £1490. We simply believed in faith that The Lord would ensure the costs were met.
On the day we counted from our collection buckets £1039. Together with a couple of subsequent donations directly to our bank account, we were left with a net shortfall of just £140, but one which someone had already promised to meet for us!
So today, with 99 pence in the bank, CTNTP embarks on the next stage of its journey, confident that The Lord – Jehovah Jireh – will continue to provide!

On 21st April this year, we released a Blog Post, Finding Clues at Meriden. Within this we described how the month before, whilst still working out what The Lord was showing us concerning our ‘As One’ gathering, we unexpectedly received an email from a couple who had been told of us, John and Pam Yates, who now live on the Isle of Wight.

A Vision Fulfilled! Prophecy Released!

John and Pam have just published an account from their perspective of the day. For John is particular, it was the fulfillment of a forty year journey… rather like the reaching of ‘the Promised Land’?
