After many months of journeying with The Lord, we are nearly there! In just twelve days time, we shall stand in the heart of the United Kingdom, pray and prophetically declare that it is the time for a nationwide revival!
Past prophecies of national revival
In 1947, evangelist Smith Wigglesworth prophesied; when those of ‘the Word’ and those of ‘the Spirit’ come together…
“…there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nations, and indeed, the world have ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores.”
Twenty years later, pastor Jean Darnall had a vision, a national move of God; small ‘fires’ lighting across the UK representing countless people praying. She then saw ‘lightning strikes’ and ‘rivers of fire’, signifying renewal and revival, flowing across the nation and out to continental Europe.
The UK Church has spoken about these prophecies for years and as we have sought God for ‘As One’, we believe it is now the right time in our nation for their release.
11.00 am, old Cathedral ruins Coventry – humble ourselves and pray
This is a significant place and from it we will symbolically gather up the spirit of unity, prayer, peace and reconciliation which this ancient City carries.
As we stand in that place, representing many different strands of The Church across our Land, in preparation for the fulfilment of the revival prophecies that we will seek and declare this afternoon, we will respond to the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2.30 pm, Meriden – ‘release’, from the very heart of England
For 500 years, Meriden has traditionally been the centre of England. We sensed its significance, and later discovered that in the 1990’s a prayer ministry was established here, after The Lord had indicated that from the heart of the nation, revival would ‘ripple outwards nationally and internationally’.
Together, ‘As One’, in the reconciliation we will have gathered in the morning, it will be time to declare ‘release’. We are led to join two staffs, symbolically representing the coming together of ‘The Spirit and ‘The Word’, and as we do so, we believe The Holy Spirit will send a mighty ripple of revival across, then outward from our Land.
We are pleased to be able to let you know of a new monthly meeting, of praise, worship and prayer, for all Christians, from any denomination or tradition, at Coventry Cathedral.
We know that the aims of this gathering are in line with those of CTNTP, to see unity and revival in the church and for the life changing gospel message of Jesus Christ to reach out to our nation.
During the meeting, CTNTP Team member, Jo Ognjanovic, has been invited to speak about ‘As One’ – if you are nearby, do go along and hear more about our vision.

Ripples! They keep coming to us! We have long seen that ‘As One’ will create have an effect way beyond the events on the day.
We wrote about it last on 14th August – click here for the full Blog Post, but one part reads:
From the beginning, we have envisaged an ‘impact’, with a ‘ripple’ pulsing out, from the very centre of the UK, across our Land and beyond. We are creating an opportunity for that to happen – we are reminded as to what happened on the day of Pentecost, when a small number of committed followers of Jesus gathered in prayer and cried out to Heaven, having no idea of the impact that was to shortly result as The Holy Spirit fell.
CONFIRMATION! A Staff and a Ripple!
We love it when God sends confirmations – and there have been many on our journey – the latest received yesterday, 2nd September from a lady who we did not know, but who has previously been involved in prayer for our nation.
She wrote:
‘I only heard about this movement on Friday morning in the most unexpected way but as someone who has been involved in the past in praying for our nation I can tell you that it has witnessed with my spirit and I’m feeling very stirred and excited…
…I was told about the call to pray by a lady whose story linking her to this same call was amazing and clearly God led. What I didn’t tell her was that as she spoke I had an instant vision which I cannot profess to fully understand but which feels in some way significant:
I saw myself standing in the middle of a field with what looked like a long staff of some kind in my hand. I raised it and thrust it downwards as though I were planting it in the ground. There was a great sound or vibration (very difficult to describe) and I saw ripples go out from the spot.
At the time, this friend was talking about Meriden, to which she has an uncanny connection, and I had never heard about the centre of England…’
And that’s exactly what we had already seen!
On the 29th September, in a field, in Meriden, we will be joining two Shepherds Crooks – staffs – to represent the Spirit and the Word coming together (read more – click here) and already we see this as a ‘ground zero’ moment – a ripple for ‘revival’ fanning out to the entire UK and beyond.
You really do need to be there!

We’ve just received an update from The Wall of Answered Prayer about this exciting project, which will be situated in a visible location the heart of our nation in the West Midlands. They write:
We were thrilled that the architectural teams behind our five shortlisted designs visited the land in August. This was their first exposure to the land, and their initial impressions were overwhelmingly positive. They began to consider how to fit their designs to the practicalities of the site and heard more of the vision behind the project as they met with our team. This is a significant step forward, the architects updated designs will be judged leading to a land and design reveal in late Spring 2019.
Things are really starting to heat up, our profile is increasing across Christian and architectural media and news about the project is spreading. This is a critical season for the project as we continue to diligently press in to God’s calling and plough the ground until He takes us to the next season, which we believe will be incredibly fruitful. We are so excited that you are with us on this journey in the early stages, and hope that you are encouraged by the progress we are making.

During the same weekend as our ‘As One‘ event, we are pleased to let you know about the annual National Prayer Weekend, this year, 28th to 30th September.
The National Prayer Weekend is organised by CWR, founded in 1965 by Selwyn Hughes, the writer of the now famous daily devotional, Every Day With Jesus.
‘CWR believes that prayer is powerful, and we want to respond to God’s call to love our neighbours and the people around us. The concept is simple – ask people in your local area whether they would like prayer. Gather the prayer requests together and pray for them. You can pray as an individual, with your small group, or get your whole church involved.’

In 2017, we published some fascinating information we had been drawn to concerning national prayer, miracles and angelic activity, much during the times that this nation has been at war. (Angels and Miracles – click here and National Days of Prayer 1899 to 1957 – click here).
Our question and assertion was and still is; if God has done it once, surely He can do it again – if only we in our Nation humble ourselves and turn to Him in prayer and repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14 has continually been hovering in our thoughts, surfacing again quite recently. (See our Blog Post of 14th August – click here).
So last week, we were most intrigued to learn of a leaflet being distributed around the Churches of the UK, entitled, ‘Wartime Miracles and a National Scandal‘, rather mysteriously by ‘Pastor John’, part of the ‘Strengthen the Faithful Team’.
Many of the accounts in this leaflet appear in the information we published, although the author did not appear to be the same. Our first thoughts were, who exactly is ‘Pastor John’ and what is The Lord saying?!
Well, earlier this week, CTNTP Co-ordinator, David Gilbey, was able to make contact with John and spent an hour on the telephone listening to a most remarkable story! All we will say of John’s identity is that he ministers within a major denomination and we understand why he wishes to keep ‘under the radar’ at this time!
In 2016, The Lord clearly spoke to John about writing the leaflet and distributing it widely around the nation. With a volunteer team and private financing, it has now been sent out by post and email to around 25,000 churches!
Much of the thrust of the Leaflet mirrors what we at CTNTP have seen from The Lord. Referring to the World War II, here’s how the leaflet ends:
What God dramatically did for that generation, He can also do for ours. Our nation urgently needs His help and protection. May we, like the wartime generation before us, turn to God in a true spirit of repentance and plead for Divine help. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 He promises, “If people humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.” If our nation, once again sought God’s help as it did during Wartime, now, just as then, miracles of blessing and protection would begin to happen.

On a rainy Tuesday, 7th November 2017, Peter Hill and David Gilbey, for the first time, drove to the village of Meriden, the traditional centre of England and then onward to Coventry and it’s Cathedral ruins, an internationally renowned centre of Reconciliation.
They immediately sensed that God had something for CTNTP to do at both these locations, to make a call to The UK Church to stand together as one, (John 17) and to release previous revival prophecy to our Nation.

Less than 7 weeks to go – do pray!
So, in less than 7 weeks, on Saturday 29th September, there will be a return journey to The Cathedral Ruins at Coventry, then the Sports Ground at Meriden, with our prophetic prayer event, ‘As One’!
We would invite you to pray, as both the practical details and the ‘content’ of each gathering is finalised, so that we neither try and include too much, nor miss any detail that The Lord would have us bring.
Please pray for protection of our Team and all those involved in the organisation of the day. There have already been some issues to face. We believe we have received great favour in being allowed to use both venues, but we know that the enemy would want to derail us, even on some small detail. We are not unaware of his schemes!
Finance ‘As One’ has a modest budget and we were clear that there should be no charge for attendance, but the day will cost us around £1500. It is Time! – 2 Chronicles 7:14
‘if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’
In the last few weeks, The Lord has again highlighted to us this well known and much quoted passage. We are sensing that in the build up to 29th September, we must continue to humble ourselves and rely on His, not our understanding of what this is all about. We must continue on what has been a considerable journey of Faith!
Yet, we also seem to be hearing The Lord saying, “Tell me, what do you want from today?!” Could it be that from Heaven, He has already heard the cries of His people across our nation, that His healing ‘release’ upon the UK is imminent and that we are to be bold in being part of that releasing process?
We do not wish to overstate our part in God’s plans for the UK, for we are a very small part of His overall Body, yet at the same time we must not underestimate the extent of God’s power that is available to us, and through us.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
We hope that many from around the UK will join us as we worship, pray and declare, that it is surely time to see the release from Heaven, through an act of humility, the ‘immeasurably more’; an fresh and unprecedented move of The Holy Spirit upon the entire UK!
