It seems that The Word and The Spirit and Smith Wigglesworth’s prophetic word, are coming up with increasing frequency!

We had the following article brought to our attention yesterday, which appears on a Blog on the Premier Radio website. It is authored by Steve Maltz, who both David Gilbey and Peter Hill of CTNTP have previously met and who is a man of great insight concerning the current ‘times and seasons’.

How can the Church find real balance?

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, one of the last things he had to say to his disciples was in this passage:

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:4-5)

Yet it took ten days since his Ascension for the Holy Spirit to descend on his disciples in Jerusalem. Why did it take so long? Everything God does is for a purpose. And this purpose should now be clear to us. He was waiting for Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, the Jewish celebration of the Word, the Law, the Torah, to arrive, so that the festival of His Word could be enriched by the giving of the Holy Spirit.

As I write this, it is the time of Shavuot. We also know that Pentecost, the festival of the Spirit, was originally celebrated on the same day, but we observed in last week’s article that now a full month separates the two. Word and Spirit! There really should be no separation. In 1947, the powerful preacher and prophet Smith Wigglesworth said, “When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen”.

So what’s the problem here? It seems that we Christians are the problem, with our thousands of denominations (40,000+ at the last count), each with its own distinction or flavour, but mostly out of step with the original model. God prefers us to live simply, holistically, in wholeness, in shalom with His full revelation. Instead we ‘pic ‘n’ mix’ from the Divine supermarket, selecting expressions of faith and conduct consistent with our needs, backgrounds and expectations, rather than the original deal represented by Shavuot and Pentecost, Word and Spirit, celebrated together on the same day. The Word without the Spirit is like a bag of chips without the salt, solid nutritious food but without the zip and energy. We need to be wrapped up in both, seamlessly, mindful that, according to this anonymous quote;

If you have the Word but not the Spirit you will dry up. If you have the Spirit but not The Word you will blow up! If you have The Spirit AND The Word you will grow up.

The Church needs to grow up and find a unity that has never been present since the days of Peter and that first church. When it does, perhaps only then we will see Wigglesworth’s prophecy fulfilled and the world will stand amazed.

There are many prophetic words being released today, and many seem quite general in their application, but when one comes to your attention that seems to fit in perfectly with the vision of CTNTP to release Smith Wigglesworth’s 1947 Prophecy over the UK, on 29th September 2018, it can’t help but grab attention!

On 20th June 2018, the following Word was written by Veronika West, appeared on His Kingdom Prophecy Website – www.hiskingdomprophecy.com, entitled An Urgent Word for the United Kingdom of Great Britain. It also references another of her recent prophetic words. 

Do read this word, reproduced below with Veronika’s permission and the referenced Word about Wilberforce -linked in the Postscript. As with all prophetic words, do weigh them with Scripture and listen to what The Holy Spirit says to you.

 

Whirlwind of Wilberforce brings forth the Word of Wigglesworth

Watch! For a Spirit and word convergence is taking place over the land.

An amazing thing happened today I was in a time of prayer and worship, when I heard the Spirit say these words, “Daughter, watch and listen!

For the whirlwind of Wilberforce will now bring forth the word of Wigglesworth, for now the Word and Spirit will converge over the nation, which will birth a great spiritual awakening in the land!”

As I heard those words, an open vision unfolded before me where again I saw a mighty whirlwind moving with great power and acceleration towards to the nation.

Now as I looked at the whirlwind, my eyes were drawn within the whirlwind (the eye of the storm) where I saw an ancient scroll being unsealed and as the ancient scrolled unravelled before me.

I saw the words that were written within the scroll begin to lift from the page, and again I heard these words, “Watch and listen! For the whirlwind of Wilberforce will now bring forth the word of Wigglesworth, for now the Word and Spirit will converge over the nation which will birth a great spiritual awakening in the land!”

I believe the timing of this word and vision is very significant for the nation…!

We have entered into a time of spiritual awakening, the waters have broken over the nation, the birthing of a new era draws near…!

CTNTP is increasingly hearing about God’s Heart, and how He longs for the heart of our Nation to be in harmony and synchronisation with His. We published a Blog Post about this in April 2018 – click here).

This Daily Devotional Reading has just been forwarded to us, which beautifully affirms our Heavenly Father’s desire for such a relationship:

The Divine Heartbeat

“Conform to the image of Christ.” That’s what we say when our thoughts are out of line: we should let our minds be renewed (Romans 12:2). It’s also what we say when our behaviour is out of line: we should live as He lived (1 John 2:6). So what do we say when our feelings are out of line? “Feelings don’t matter anyway.” We dismiss them as irrelevant to our discipleship.

That’s enormously inconsistent. It’s also unbiblical. God is clearly an emotional being, having the capacity to rejoice, be grieved, have compassion, be angry, be jealous, be zealous, and more. Scripture clearly affirms these things. If we are to be conformed to His image, we’ll need to love what He loves, hate what He hates, delight in what He delights in, and so on. If our feelings are out of sync with Him, the answer isn’t to dismiss them as unimportant. It’s to align them with His own. We are designed to share His heartbeat.

“But feelings can lead you astray!” argue some. And your intellect can’t? “But feelings are so subjective,” others say. And your behaviour isn’t? We have the potential in every corner of the soul either to be led by self or led by God. The heart, when led by God, is a powerful motivator and place of inspiration.

Cultivate your emotions. Feel what God feels. Ask to share the rhythm of His heartbeat. Don’t let people tell you that isn’t biblical; it most certainly is. (See Philippians 2:1-2 and 2 Corinthians 7:11 for two examples among many others.) Enjoy your relationship with divine affections. The heart is the missing link in many people’s discipleship. Never let it go missing in yours.

A National Landmark of Hope

Imagine a huge and striking architectural landmark, right in the centre of England, which will not only be visible for miles around, but where you can visit and find one million answers to prayer, an exhibition to tell the story prayer in our nation over the centuries and a place to actually pray 24-7!

Well, it may not be something to simply imagine for much longer. A couple of days ago, CTNTP’s David Gilbey went to rural Leicestershire, where he met the man who first heard God’s voice about this amazing project, Richard Gamble, CEO of The Wall. Richard passionately shared with David how The Lord has been miraculously guiding and providing!

The Wall is described as, ‘A piece of architectural sculpture built in the heart of the nation about Jesus. Made of a million bricks with each one representing an answered prayer’.

Land is now secured and they will begin building in 2020, but right now, Richard and his Team need further financial provision and not least thousands and thousands of prayers to add to those already sent.

 

God’s focus on the centre of England!

This is a truly amazing project and with the proposed site for The Wall just a few miles from Meriden, where CTNTP will be having our prophetic gathering on September 29th this year, we are believing there is a link between our respective visions.

The Wall is calling the nation to prayers!… and to discover The God who answers them through His son Jesus and the power of The Holy Spirit.

It’s rather like holding one’s breath for an extended period, whilst listening to a roll on the drums! When when will the cymbals crash and the moment come when you can finally breathe out!

This is the walk of faith the Team of CTNTP seem to have been making for several months now, with regards to our proposed prophetic gathering on Saturday 29th September in the heart of our nation.

With now, a little over three months to go, at the beginning of the year, we rather hoped that by this time we would have had all the details sorted out, but this has truly been a one step at a time journey, where we continually sense God’s timing is much better than our impatience!

So, we’re still not quite able to reveal everything, but to say that on 30th May, Team member Jo Ognjanovic and I were able to have two meetings, that we believe brought further clarity and have significantly opened the way to the finalisation of the practical and spiritual details for Saturday 29th September.

Two gatherings

We are now planning TWO gatherings on 29th September!

This is what we currently see:

The first gathering will be late morning, in Coventry and within the ruins of the old Cathedral, a place that for decades has been set aside as a special place of unity and reconciliation. Here, we sense that we will symbolically capture the ‘spirit of reconciliation’, that the City of Coventry as a whole carries and represents. 

We are delighted to say that on 30th May, we obtained permission for the use of the old Cathedral site from The Dean.

Secondly, early afternoon, we are currently waiting for permission to be granted to have a second gathering, in a public space, in the nearby village of Meriden, the traditional centre, or as we are now seeing it, ‘The Heart’ of the UK. (The Father heart of God, His love for the British Isles and all who dwell here, is a growing theme for us).

We have recently met and are in conversation with all three church leaders in Meriden, who are excited for what we are seeing and supporting and standing alongside us as we proceed.

Releasing Revival to the nation and nations

Here at Meriden, symbolically the very heart of England, in essence we see the ‘spirit of reconciliation’ we will bring from Coventry, being ‘released by the symbolic joining of two shepherds crooks.

The joining of the shepherds crooks represent the coming together in unity, ‘as one’, of The Church in our nation, those of ‘The Spirit’ and those of ‘The Word’, as detailed in Smith Wigglesworth’s 1947 prophecy. 

We believe that through this prophetic act, as described by Smith Wigglesworth, the Holy Spirit will release a ‘ripple’ of Christian reconciliation, renewal and revival that will spread over the whole nation and out to the nations.

We know this is all a most bold statement of intent and we do not enter into any of this lightly. We know that unless The Lord has gone before us, we are simply wasting our time and nothing will happen! And yet, as we have journeyed in faith, time and time again, the clues, the evidence, God’s footsteps have appeared before us.

The CTNTP Team and some local leaders, are meeting in Coventry in two weeks time to pray and to continue the planning.

Providing it is The Lord’s timing, by the beginning of July, we hope to release practical details and publicity material for the 29th September.

If you read our Blog Post on 14 April – click here – entitled, The Father’s Love Letter, you will know that the subject of God’s Love has been firmly placed on the agenda for CTNTP. As a result of what happened over this last weekend, I believe The Lord certainly wants to keep it there, and in the hearts and minds of all in our Nation!

Who would have thought that on Saturday just gone, an estimated 2 billion people around the World, would have heard a black American Bishop speak of the love of God, through Jesus Christ, and in front of the entire UK Royal Family! Of course, this was at the amazing wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle!

I’ve seen a few social media messages questioning some of Bishop Michael Curry’s theological views on relationships and marriage and a few who sounded indignant at the fact that he didn’t go the whole way to giving an appeal for Salvation!

But, come on! Praise The Lord! What way of opening so wide a conversation across our entire Nation and indeed the world, about the two greatest commandments, the Love of the true and only God for us his created, and how each of us should both love Him in return and each other! Let the Holy Spirit sort out the details in people’s hearts and minds!

I was recently in a prayer meeting at the World Prayer Centre, Birmingham and was drawn to the story of Creation. God rested on the seventh day and I imagined his heart slowing to a steady beat and that all his creation, and the heartbeats of Adam and Eve, synchronising and resonating along with it, all in perfect harmony.

I then saw how, when Adam and Eve sinned, took that forbidden fruit, their heartbeats became slightly off-beat with The Lord’s. Thousands of years later after the hearts of men and women throughout the Old Testament times still failed to fully ‘re-align’, Jesus was sent.

As Jesus cried on The Cross, ‘It is finished’, and breathed His last, I believe a ‘jolt’ went through the whole of creation that enabled a re-synchronisation of the heartbeat of God with mankind.

For God so loved the world, that He sent His only son, so that whoever believes in Him, will not perish, but [have his heartbeat re-aligned with The Father] and receive [again] eternal life. (John 3:16)

What an opportunity last weekend has created, for Christians everywhere to answer the questions that will surely arise about God’s love. To share about their faith in Jesus and how His Love that has changed and re-aligned their own hearts, and which can also so easily alter the heartbeat of their relatives, friends and colleagues – forever!

The beat of God’s heart says, ‘I love you’, ‘I love you’, ‘I love you’… Let’s respond in kind and see others drawn to receiving that amazing Love.

It seems the right time to reveal another of the ‘clues’, a piece of evidence, we believe The Lord has left for CTNTP.

If you have read about our vision – click here – you will have seen that on Saturday 29th September, we are looking to have a gathering in the centre of England, involving a most unusual prophetic act of the joining of two shepherd’s crooks, to represent the ‘Word’ and the ‘Spirit’ strands of the Christian faith coming together.

The vision for this prophetic act, based on the Smith Wigglesworth Prophecy of 1947, came in 2016 to Peter Hill, just prior to  his first exploratory visit concerning CTNTP to the UK. Peter sat in an Anglican church in Amsterdam, where his son is a minister and saw their joining happening somewhere in the centre of England. He kept what he saw to himself to see what else God might say.

November 2017, Peter was in the UK again and on the day of his arrival spoke a little about all this to me. We observed that the centre of the country is often regarded as being Coventry.

During Peter’s time in the UK, we planned to set out for a week or so together, to visit as led, organisations and people to discuss CTNTP. However, we had a two-day gap in our itinerary and in considering how to fill it, I very much felt God saying He was sending us both to Coventry!

We ended up in Coventry,  (also visiting nearby Meriden, click here for more about that), and Peter and I immediately felt that the City and surrounding area held great spiritual significance for what the Lord was showing us.

Beginning of 2018, Our Team, excluding Peter who was then several thousand miles away in Canada, met at Coventry Prayer House. One of the things we mulled over, was how much each of us ‘owned’ the vision – after-all it was originally Peter’s! Was all this ‘Spirit’ and ‘Word, joining shepherd’s crooks thing a little ‘far out there’?

Personally, having walked the CTNTP journey with Peter for around eighteen months, I believed I did have ownership. As an ex-policeman, it has felt very much that I’ve been following clues and ‘fingerprints’ left by The Lord. I’d accumulated lots of evidence to help prove the case! But for the other Team members?

Lunchtime, we went out for a walk and unexpectedly found ourselves in the Cathedral cafe. This is next to a small museum of history and artifacts and after eating we wandered in there, I remember actually saying, “let’s look for clues!”.

We had been in there for several minutes, before I suddenly noticed two old and unusual bishop’s crosiers, ‘shepherd’s crooks’ if you will, on display side by side.

Well that was unusual enough, but we then quickly noticed that one included in the labelling, ‘…enclosing a crystal upon which is engraved a dove symbolising the Holy Spirit’ Wow!

Turning to the second, we observed a small golden figure at the top, apparently labelled ‘REX’ – Latin= King – Jesus? – The Word! Double WOW!

Sometimes clues need a second examination and later we wondered if the golden figure wasn’t in-fact Christ but actually William Tyndale, who was the very first translator of much of the Bible into English – certainly the features closely resemble contemporary pictures of him?

Either way, we each believed the crosiers were a personal ‘sign’ and confirmation. Another clue, a ‘fingerprint’ left by God? – ‘Spirit’ and ‘Word’ – standing together but apart – and ready to be symbolically joined!

This might be somewhat a generalisation, but where it is happening  -and it even happens within the same denominations and streams – it’s got to stop if we are to see revival in out Nation! God is Saying: Tear This Down – for the Next THREE MONTHS!

I’m just amazed at this…

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the shortest dreams, the ones that last only a few seconds, can be the most potent dreams of all?

Let me show you what goes right to the heart, and then I’ll add a second revelation from Chuck Pierce that will bring it on home.

So, a few years ago, this 15 second dream rocked my world: I was at an outdoor church picnic—not any particular church, just “a” church.

Friend and families were all playing together in such things as volleyball, egg tosses and other fun games.

What a picture of harmony among God’s people…

At least at a glance it appeared so.

Then I noticed that not just a volleyball net separated two sides, but also a fence—a brown picket fence—separated the people into two groups. You couldn’t walk around it. As I looked and looked some more, that fence went on as far as any eye could see. It went on until it disappeared from sight.

Then a voice came that only I could hear. The people didn’t seem to hear it, but I heard it.

“When you tear this fence down, when it’s all torn down, a revival will break out on earth such as the world has never seen!”

As I watched, the people began as a unified group, working together from both sides of the fence to force the fence to the ground. They even agreed on which way the fence would fall.

The dream ended.

When I awoke, it only took me seconds to grasp the meaning. God was saying, “When the Body of Christ tears down THE OFFENSES that are separating them from one another, THEN I can bring a revival upon the land—the likes of which the world has never seen!”

I ponder that dream a lot, and it came back to me a few days ago when Chuck Pierce spoke these words which have been transcribed for you here:

Prophecy, Danger and Warning – Not to Be Offended!
Spoken by Chuck Pierce on April 8, 2018:

You’ve got to shift your desires if you’re going to come and accomplish what Father wants right now. What He told Peter is: You are being bent. And see, 2018 is about “standing up straight”. And the word OFFENSE means: You’re being “bent over and stumbling at a key moment when you should be standing straight and standing strong.” 

So there is a danger now and a warning this week: not to be offended—and not to be offended over the next 3—I would have to say 3 months. Be careful that your offense is not aligned with some emotion that you’ve not dealt with. 

I have the fear of the Lord regarding taking offense over the next 3 months. I plan to take this word seriously and profit by doing so. I hope you’ll do this with me.

Let’s listen to the prophets and prosper.

Why does CTNTP have a vision for a gathering in the centre of England on 29th September 2018, to prophetically release revival? Here is more of our journey, with a recent and exciting update!

Peter Hill’s vision for a prophetic act

November 2017, Peter Hill arrived in the UK from Canada on his third visit to explore what The Lord had for CTNTP. Peter met with David Gilbey and just a few hours after touch-down, over dinner, Peter spoke of his vision for the joining of two shepherd’s crooks.

One of facets of this vision, was that it was to happen in the centre of the Nation. 

Peter mentioned that he believed Coventry to be about the centre of England, which made David’s ears ‘prick-up’! Just a couple of weeks before David had been on a train from London to Birmingham and had been prompted to take just one photograph… through his carriage window, that of a Coventry station sign!

David and Peter were planning to travel around England the following week to visit some far-flung contacts, but at the point Peter arrived, they had nowhere planned for the Tuesday and Wednesday. Later that evening, David felt God was telling them to go to Coventry. David felt that if necessary he and Peter would simply walk the streets and see what The Lord might say to them!

In his ‘former life’, David was a police constable, and looking for ‘evidence’ and ‘clues’ as to what The Lord might want to do, was a natural part of his thinking.

Meriden – historic centre of England

There is more that could be told, but David then discovered that, just to the west of Coventry, there is a village called Meriden and on its village green stands a five-hundred-year-old Market Cross. This location is widely regarded as the traditional centre of England and a plaque at the base of the market cross attests to this fact.

So, on Tuesday 7th November 2017, Peter and David went to Meriden, stood at the market cross to see what ‘clues’ The Lord reveal to them.

As he approached the column, David spotted a large brightly hand-painted stone laying in plain sight on the grass in front, seemingly waiting for him to find! It depicted blue sky, the sun shining, birds flying and flowers in bloom. (It was discovered in the local cafe, that this was a project by local children who would leave there stones, usually hidden, around the district for people to find). What was remarkable is that the stone was perfectly rounded, like an egg – David felt it symbolised new-life – something about to hatch, to breakforth!

Not only because of finding the ‘egg’, but David and Peter came away from Meriden that morning, strongly believing that God had led us to the place He had chosen for the prophetic act. They went on to Coventry itself, where they met certain people (and that’s another story!) and that belief increased.

Subsequently, a CTNTP Steering Team was formed – with representation in Coventry – and a process of engaging with certain local Christian leaders has been taking place – we knew we could not just turn-up in a City where we were not known and proclaim that we were going to hold a slightly unusual prophetic gathering, without explanation and first building relationships!

March 2018 – John and Pam Yates

Leading up to Easter, March 2018, relationships were such that we felt we could now release more details of our proposals to HOPE Coventry, the ecumenical group, connecting many of the City’s churches. 

A couple of days later, we unexpectedly received an email from a couple who had been told of our website, John and Pam Yates, who live on the Isle of Wight. 

We were amazed to hear that in 1979, John Yates received a vision from God about the centre of England.

‘In the autumn of 1979 John had been alone praying, when the presence of God became very powerful in his room. God began to show John the importance of establishing His Kingdom presence in the heart of England, which would then ripple outwards nationally and internationally. This vision was so powerfully implanted within John that he pursued it wholeheartedly from that time on, whatever the cost.’

In 1990, John realised that the work he had been pursuing, called Heart of England Outreach, was to be centred in no less than Meriden.

When in 2010, John and Pam subsequently moved to the Isle of Wight, an amazing work, which included the establishing of a church in Meriden, a centre for prayer and ministry, prayer walking in the area, gatherings at the market cross and much more, was handed over to others. But in the last few years, it has ceased.

Picking up the ‘baton’

Having spoken with John and Pam Yates. we believe CTNTP may well have again picked up the ‘baton’, that of the vision The Lord originally gave to John in 1979 and which John and Pam established; to see ‘His Kingdom presence in the heart of England’.

Dare we also believe that the gathering and prophetic act we propose on 29th September, the joining of two shepherds crooks representing, the Spirit and the Word, will initiate that Kingdom presence. ‘which would then ripple outwards nationally and internationally.’?

Certainly that is what Peter Hill and David Gilbey felt when they first stood in Meriden last November and The Lord seems to have provided another very strong clue!

The actual ‘cross’ from the top of the column of the Market Cross in Meriden has long since disappeared. Instead a rod protrudes, rather like a lightning conductor? John Yate’s description of a ‘ripple’ going out from the centre of the UK,  reminds us of Jean Darnell’s prophetic vision – a description of lightning striking the UK, releasing ‘rivers of fire’ to flow across nation! Revival!

We are now starting to pursue the practicalities and details of how the gathering on Saturday 29th September will actually happen. Much is still unknown and we know time is relatively short. But we continue to sense God’s hand in the timing of it all.

Please pray that as we take further steps of faith and engage with others in the Coventry area, that we will see all the evidence of The Lord’s preparation fall into place.
