The Bible tells us in Joel 2:28, that in the last days before the return of Jesus, we should expect people to have prophetic words, dreams and visions. That is of course how CTNTP came along, when in 2015, Peter Hill heard The Lord tell him to, ‘call the nation to prayer’.

During the night on 7th March 2018, Peter Hill had a dream. He describes it thus:

Now it is interesting that in yesterday’s Blog post, ‘Seed time and harvest – together’ (click here), I made reference to and indeed posted a little sketch that I had drawn of a tractor, (minus plough!), ploughing a field, which had bird’s flying behind it. (Yes those squiggles are birds!).

In that post, I hadn’t made any mention of the birds, nor had thoughts that they were relevant, but maybe here follows the explanation?

We’ve just received an email from a brand new subscriber to CTNTP, Andy Ritchie, from Sutton Vineyard Church, South West London. Andy had been looking through our website. He wrote the following, shared with his permission:

‘I related to many of the articles and was encouraged, the fires Jean Darnall described, I had seen a couple of weeks ago while praying. I joined a friend who had a vision that after seven times prayer walking round a local estate, a band /sound would be appearing. Before I went out I felt that the army of the Lord would be there fighting on our behalf, at a certain point and saw an image like a huge bird in the sky (Spiritual realm), when we reached that point and went to battle praying. The verse my friend cited confirmed this:

“The LORD of Heaven’s Armies will hover over Jerusalem and protect it like a bird protecting its nest. He will defend and save the city; he will pass over it and rescue it.” Isaiah 31:5 .’ (NLT).

This whole chapter in Isaiah (click here to read), is about the folly of not trusting in God, repentance and reformation and God’s protection over a nation.

Could we replace ‘Jerusalem’ with, ‘the United Kingdom’?

Andy then went on to say:

‘Below is the post from the friend I was with…

Final lap of the 7 day walk, unbelievable feeling a shift happen has we walked around the estate, in the cold we felt the prescience of the Holy Spirit, something shifted, we felt, that God was operating the biblical word “BAN” over the spiritual forces. Meaning it felt like the cause of the idols, deprivation, materialism will be addressed and wiped out.
We prayed for the following areas: For a path to be made in the wilderness. We prayed about the deceit, that is taking place, in unbelievers and followers of Jesus, we repented and asked God to fill us with a deeper revelation of God.
We prayed that our faith will be authentic and that we will, be a light, we felt, that God was going to strengthen weak Christians, that more warriors will be joining the war, these people will not be full of empty words, or a plastic faith but a real deep love for Jesus and their focus will be to do his will.

Regarding the vision the fires Jean Darnall described, I have seen also couple of weeks ago while praying during the end of the service, many strong large fires burning brightly, our Lord Jesus was walking around them and then knelt down and wrote in the sand?’

Finally Andy wrote this:

‘Our H.O.T.S [Healing on the Streets] and prayer ministry leaders from our church were praying early in the morning last month, before anyone arrived and heard an audible voice speak and say “WAKE UP!”. (they even went outside to check if anyone was outside and found nobody).’

Do weigh and seek God over these words. Thank you Andy for allowing us to share them.

On 15th October 2015, well before the vision for CTNTP had come to my attention, I was in Norwich for a meeting. Later the same day, as a guest for tea at a large Georgian house a few miles away, I unexpectedly found myself sitting praying with two others in a tiny room that our host kept reserved for prayer.

The Lord gave me some pictures, here are two of them:

1. A tractor ploughing a field, with birds feeding,  flying and swooping behind it.
2. A musical triangle – the three equal sides representing The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit – but it was being used as a fire alarm – sounding an alert that the fire of The Spirit was coming!

I believed they might be significant and simply recorded them in my journal to see what else The Lord might say in the future?

The Future!

26th February 2018, I was sitting in our CTNTP Team Meeting in Coventry (see also the last Blog Post regards ‘Joy’ – click here) and during a time of listening to The Holy Spirit, I felt Him speaking to me about that word about the tractor ploughing. I drew a simple picture of this on a piece of paper. (It was so simple that I forgot to actually draw the plough!!).

At the same time, two other members of our Team also heard from The Lord. One wrote, ‘Harvesting’ and ‘Combine Harvester’, the other, the word ‘drill’ (seed drill?), but then thought this referred to, ‘a plough turning over the ground’.

Our attention was then drawn to this passage in Amos 9:13:

“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills,

We felt God was talking to us about ‘The Land’ of the UK, about our vision for prayer walking, also about ‘ancient pathways’ and the importance of all this to what He is about to do, about to release upon our Nation in extraordinary measure!

Sound the alarm!

Fire alarms go off suddenly, without warning. Flames spread fast! I believe the ‘Holy Trinity Fire Alarm’ is about to sound out over the UK!

Are we ready, not to run-away, but to run with God? Are we ready to abandon our usual pattern of doing things and flow with Him only where The Holy Spirit takes us, spreading far and wide the gospel of Jesus Christ in whatever way He guides, to instantaneously see thousands upon thousands ‘Born Again’!?

There is a real sense that it, whatever ‘it’ will look like, is all going to happen very quickly! We have ploughed  – and continue to do so – we have sown – and still do – and although maybe we presently see some harvest for The Kingdom of God, actually we have seen nothin’ yet! (someone spoke a word over me several years ago, that I had seen nothin’ yet!).

5778 – Year of new beginnings

I subsequently came across a prophetic word dated 8th January 2018, on the website,  everydayrevivalists.com, given by Nate and Christy Johnston. It starts off:

‘On the 10th of October, we were In Washington D.C when I had a dream where the Lord said to me “Prophesy HARVEST, and blow the trumpet of JUBILEE!” This really grabbed my attention because prior to flying over to the United States only a week earlier God began speaking to us about the billion soul harvest prophesied by Bob Jones years ago. We both had a strong sensing that the church was crossing over into a time of harvest that would be unlike any other time in history, and as we entered the new Jewish year of 5778 it would be the beginning of the harvest of all harvests. [My emphasis]. These two keywords have continued to ring loud and clear in my spirit for 2018 and I pray these following words encourage you to grab hold of the breakthrough available in this exciting time in the body of Christ!’…

Not just a few straggly ears!

Probably more than thirty years ago, I remember seeing a photo in a magazine I believe, of a whole line of combine harvesters in North Dakota, USA, harvesting a vast golden wheat field, which stretched as far, far as the eye could see. The memory has stayed with me ever since and often over the years I have often said to people that this surely represents the fulness of the ‘end-time harvest of souls’ prior to Jesus’ return. No returning to a few ‘straggly broken down ears’!

Are you ready to boldly walk our Land, to sow but also to bountifully reap? It may be that it’s all going to get a little crazy around here!

‘You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so. You drench the ploughed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops. You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.’

As we journey with our Vision to Call the Nation to Prayer, God continues to lay the foundations and add to our growing trail of clues and evidence as to what He wants all of this to look like.

Wednesday 21 February, Suzanne Ferrett, one of our Team and I visited the leader of a national prayer ministry. We hope to be able to say more about that soon, but during our time together we listened to the Holy Spirit and wrote what we heard onto a piece of A3 paper!

The leader got the word, ‘FUN’! We also felt to write down, ‘mixing of paints’ (lots of bright colours), ‘the joy of the Lord is our strength‘, ‘smile, ‘be happy’, ‘reclaim the year of The Lord’s favour‘.

All of this we believed was in the context of what should happen when Christians take to the streets. We must be attractive so that people come out of their homes and follow… not only the Christians themselves, but Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

We felt that a real joy needed to be right at the centre of everything – something that is often sadly lacking not only on our streets, but in The Church too!

Sunday 25th February, I heard about a short prophetic word by Chris Bennett, published on the Blog, UK Prophetic Words.

Chris starts off: Amid all the chaos of the world right now, I see Holy laughter! I’d been watching some old video clips from various people, when I suddenly had a vision of people rolling around, absolutely laughing fit to bust. In the middle of this I heard the Lord say, “I’m bringing this back!”

Then a little later: “One of the first signs shall be My joy manifested among My people…'”

Monday 26 February, the CTNTP Team gathered in Coventry Prayer House for a prayer and strategy meeting. The first thing we did was to pray in The Spirit and as the previous week, write down what we felt God was saying on a piece of A3 paper.

I wrote ‘JOY’ in the middle in red, then stood up to pray. As I did so, I immediately found myself standing in front of a metal wall ornament, consisting of a saxophone with musical notes around it. I looked more closely and saw that someone has painted some words on it:

I read, ‘Worship The Lord with gladness, Come before Him with Joyful songs – Psalm 100:2′

Also painted there was the word, ‘Laugh’!

I did!

The Lord clearly has a sense of humour, but is surely making a point that CTNTP, as it goes forward, indeed The Church in our nation, must seriously consider…!

Lot’s in the media today about the passing of Billy Graham – a true man of The Word and who I had a privilege of seeing and hearing at Ipswich football stadium in the 1980’s, during his last major visit to the UK I believe.

Many are reflecting and speaking of previous prophesies as to what the ‘calling home’ of this great saint of God might mean? Benny Hinn had apparently prophesied a number of years ago, that his death would release an ‘Elijah’ anointing on the church:

“The sign will be Billy Graham’s death. You are talking about a people in hiding, just like Elijah was in hiding, but when he came out, he challenged the prophets of Baal. And the Lord said to me in 1989, when Oral Roberts [died in 2009] and Billy Graham go home, it will be the key, it will be the sign of the beginning of the greatest revival. Oral is home and Billy is about to go home, and when he does, I’m telling you, the whole Church, get ready.”

A Declaration for The Church in the UK to truly unite, in love to see a move of The Holy Spirit across our land.

We praise and thank You for the desire to pray You are giving to many within this nation.  We thank You for every answer received and every miraculous turnaround experienced individually, locally and nationally in the past season. We speak refreshment to those who have grown weary.

Now, in this day of opportunity, we call Your people into Your Presence, to hear Your voice and to understand Your ways, that the power of prayer will be exercised and increased across this land, pressing through, birthing and spearheading a move of Your Spirit which will transform individuals, spheres and regions.

We declare across Your church in the United Kingdom, the abundant life of Jesus will overwhelm and transform every place of weariness, dryness and dead religion, and we speak an outpouring of the freshness of Your Spirit across this land.

We thank You for Your anointing upon each one of us “… to preach good tidings to the poor … to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound” Isaiah 61:1

Lord, we declare in this nation Your people will be united, that Your desire for the fullness of Your love, from Your people and between Your people, will be fully released; melting, overwhelming, saturating, indelibly marking and spreading throughout the United Kingdom.

In Jesus Name, we call forth salvations, we call forth Jesus centred conversations, we call forth prophetic encounters. We declare our nation will not miss the day of Your visitation, that in this day, every promise of awakening and harvest will be fulfilled.

Now we thank You for every new strategy, partnership, meeting and movement of prayer You are initiating for this season, and we call them forth in the Name of Jesus.

Benjamin Ajala is known for his bold evangelistic ministry. He frequents trains, parks and schools preaching a bold gospel of a Jesus that wants to know you and heal you! Something caught our attention at PVTV when Benjamin took to London Underground with this bold statement- “you don’t come to church so we brought church to you”. With a violinist and guitarist he proceeded to lead this busy underground commute in worship. Through changing the atmosphere, the response to his call for salvation drastically shifted from the usual mixed and quite animus response became warm and open to receiving from God.

People on the Underground started off jeering and some walking away but then nearer the end of the video we can see others declaring that they had been healed. One man even expressing it for all the carriage to hear. Mothers allowed Benjamin’s team to pray for their children.

Something changes nearer the end of the video. You can see the atmosphere change and peoples reception go from awkward laughter to a warm and welcome reception. Is worship the key to changing the atmosphere?

Sterling Record

We have very much sensed that God is talking about wanting His people to create ‘A Sound’ over the Nation  – (click here for our initial thoughts on this).

This prophetic word, just given, adds another dimension to how God seems to want to release ‘His Sound’, through us.

It is also interesting to note that Jean Darnell’s 1967 vision talks about lightning striking the United Kingdom  – click here.

Let Me Strike You with My Lightning: Enter into Your Conducting Season!

A prophetic word by Chuck Pierce and Deborah Degar 30th January 2018

‘During our New Song Celebration, portals of sound, song and prophetic revelation were activated. Here is one of the prophecies that came forward that will help position you in this “striking” season:

“Many of you don’t think that I can find you to strike you, but I am in the striking mode. I am sending My lightnings from heaven and finding those who can capsulize My lightnings. Get ready, for the striking is beginning for those who are willing to hold My lightning. Be ready to say, ‘Here I am, Lord – I am ready to be struck from Heaven with your lightning!’

“Some of you have been afraid to be energized by Me. Therefore, you live in a mode that is way beyond the movement that I have for you. I am in a striking mood and I will find those who want to carry the strike! Some of you are afraid that the enemy will keep speaking against you. But I can make you too hot for the enemy to handle! Let Me strike you, and you’ll begin to thunder and send out My sound. This is the hour of the strike!

“If you will allow Me to make you My lightning rod, I will cause you to be one that will conduct power. You will also be able to produce power and take My people into their future with a greater anointing and understanding of who they are. I am calling you to allow Me to make you a lightning rod for the generations that are to come behind you. Yet some of you say, ‘I like my hair one way.’ But when I penetrate you with My power, your hair will be electric – it will stand out like a lion’s mane and the sound in you will be heard!

“I want conductors of My power, and am looking this hour for who will agree with Me. Now is the time to defy old religious boundaries. Now is the time to go beyond and connect in a way you’ve never connected. There are openings in heaven this hour and I am looking for those who will conduct My power from Heaven to earth.” (Chuck D. Following the release of our vision for 2018, we feel rather like we’ve dropped a large stone in a lake and are presently watching the ripples spreading as more and more people become aware of what The Lord has spoken to us about… and waiting to see what comes rippling back to us!

Behind the scenes our Team are praying, listening and taking steps to see how our vision will be fulfilled – we know that unless God has gone before, it is impossible! Yet we see God’s ‘fingerprints’ everywhere, clues He has left for us, evidence of His good plans.

Have you thought about making prayer a ‘visible presence’ in your community?

Our partner organisation, Chelmsford 24-7 Prayer, has done just that and when they prayer walk their streets, they wear blue reflective jackets, which proclaim, ‘Praying For Our City’.

They feel it is important to be seen in the City  – and their presence often attracts positive comments and conversations.

In early January 2017, they passed a man, who asked them what they were doing. A conversation of only a minute or two resulted and they walked on.

Almost exactly one year later, Chelmsford 24-7 Prayer was in a local church with a ‘Portable Prayer Space’ (another aspect of their ministry) and a man who was using of one of the church rooms during a letting by a non-Christian organisation, approached and spoke. It was the same man and a very positive and much longer conversation about the Christian faith and how he needed Jesus in his life resulted. Seeds sown and reaped.
